Given guidance from Allah

does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? {67} So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; {68} Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. {69} And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. {70} Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. {71} But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. {72} When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" {73} But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? {74} Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! {75} "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." {76} Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" {77} Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? {78} Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. {79} To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. {80} And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! {81} Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. {82}

Fear Of Allah

We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),-

 (Surah Taha Verse 2 And 3 )

Who Rejected Allah ???

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! {27} And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! {28} "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." {29} Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see. {30} But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin! {31} "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" {32} Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! {33} It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! {34} "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. {35} Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds! {36} To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom! {37}

(Surah  Al-JathiyaVerse 27 To 37)

Monday 4 June 2012

Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in). {10} Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: {11} When it sees them from a place fAr off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. {12} And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will pLead for destruction there and then! {13} "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" {14} Say: "Is that best, or the eternal garden, promised to the righteous? for them, that is a reward as well as a goal (of attainment). {15} "For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord." {16} The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides Allah, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?" {17} They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the Message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost." {18} (Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. {19} And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). {20}
(Surah Al-Furqan)

Because they contended against Allah and His Messenger

Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith. {11} Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." {12} This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment. {13} Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire." {14} O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. {15} If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)! {16} It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). {17} That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers. {18} (O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe! {19}

(Surah Al-Anfal)

Friday 11 May 2012

It is against his own soul

We certainly gave Moses the Book aforetime: but disputes arose therein. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (their differences) would have been settled between them: but they remained in suspicious disquieting doubt thereon. {45} Whoever works righteousness benefits his own soul; whoever works evil, it is against his own soul: nor is thy Lord ever unjust (in the least) to His Servants. {46} To Him is referred the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment: He knows all): No date-fruit comes out of its sheath, nor does a female conceive (within her womb) nor bring forth the Day that (Allah) will propound to them the (question), "Where are the partners (ye attributed to Me?" They will say, "We do assure thee not one of us can bear witness!" {47} The (deities) they used to invoke aforetime will leave them in the lurch, and they will perceive that they have no way of escape. {48} Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair. {49} When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty. {50} When We bestow favours on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to Us); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer! {51} Say: "See ye if the (Revelation) is (really) from Allah, and yet do ye reject it? Who is more astray than one who is in a schism far (from any purpose)?" {52} Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things? {53} Ah indeed! Are they in doubt concerning the Meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things! {54}

(Surah Fussilat)

My Lord hath honoured me.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
By the break of Day
{1} By the Nights twice five; {2} By the even and odd (contrasted); {3} And by the Night when it passeth away;- {4} Is there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand? {5} Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people),- {6} Of the (city of) Iram, with lofty pillars, {7} The like of which were not produced in (all) the land? {8} And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?- {9} And with Pharaoh, lord of stakes? {10} (All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands, {11} And heaped therein mischief (on mischief). {12} Therefore did thy Lord pour on them a scourge of diverse chastisements: {13} For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower. {14} Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me." {15} But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me!" {16} Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans! {17} Nor do ye encourage one another to feed the poor!- {18} And ye devour inheritance - all with greed, {19} And ye love wealth with inordinate love! {20} Nay! When the earth is pounded to powder, {21} And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank, {22} And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him? {23} He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!" {24} For, that Day, His Chastisement will be such as none (else) can inflict, {25} And His bonds will be such as none (other) can bind. {26} (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! {27} "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him! {28} "Enter thou, then, among My devotees! {29} "Yea, enter thou My Heaven! {30}

(Surah Al-Fajar)

And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance

Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" {66} But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? {67} So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; {68} Then shall We certainly drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against (Allah) Most Gracious. {69} And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. {70} Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. {71} But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. {72} When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" {73} But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? {74} Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! {75} "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." {76} Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" {77} Has he penetrated to the Unseen, or has he taken a contract with (Allah) Most Gracious? {78} Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. {79} To Us shall return all that he talks of and he shall appear before Us bare and alone. {80} And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! {81} Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. {82}

(Surah Maryam)

Have Allah (God) Son

Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? {83} So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). {84} The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, {85} And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- {86} None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. {87} They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" {88} Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! {89} At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, {90} That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. {91} For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. {92} Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. {93} He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. {94} And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. {95} On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. {96} So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. {97} But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? {98}

(Surah Maryam)

O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!

Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- {93} "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" {94} And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. {95} Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. {96} And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. {97} "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." {98} (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- {99} "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. {100} Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! {101} Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: {102} But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. {103} The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. {104} "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" {105} They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! {106}

(Suran Al-Muaminoon)

They forgot the Message of Allah

Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in). {10} Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: {11} When it sees them from a place fAr off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh. {12} And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will pLead for destruction there and then! {13} "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" {14} Say: "Is that best, or the eternal garden, promised to the righteous? for them, that is a reward as well as a goal (of attainment). {15} "For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord." {16} The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides Allah, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?" {17} They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the Message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost." {18} (Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. {19} And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). {20}

(Surah Al-Furqan)

Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?

And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. {69} Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" {70} They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." {71} He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)?" {72} "Or do you good or harm?" {73} They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)." {74} He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- {75} "Ye and your fathers before you?- {76} "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; {77} "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; {78} "Who gives me food and drink, {79} "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me; {80} "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); {81} "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. {82} "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; {83} "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); {84} "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; {85} "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; {86}

(Surah Al-Shuara)

That Day (Allah) will call to them

Are (these two) alike?- one to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its (fulfilment), and one to whom We have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up (for punishment)? {61} That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say "Where are my 'partners'?- whom ye imagined (to be such)?" {62} Those against whom the charge will be proved, will say: "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray: we led them astray, as we were astray ourselves: we free ourselves (from them) in Thy presence: it was not us they worshipped." {63} It will be said (to them): "Call upon your 'partners' (for help)" :they will call upon them, but they will not listen to them; and they will see the Penalty (before them); (how they will wish) 'if only they had been open to guidance!' {64} That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?" {65}

(surah Al-Qasas)

Those who reject the Signs of Allah

Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Penalty. {23} So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe. {24} And he said: "For you, ye have taken (for worship) idols besides Allah, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; but on the Day of Judgment ye shall disown each other and curse each other: and your abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help." {25} But Lut had faith in Him: He said: "I will leave home for the sake of my Lord: for He is Exalted in Might, and Wise." {26} And We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, and ordained among his progeny Prophethood and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life; and he was in the Hereafter (of the company) of the Righteous. {27} And (remember) Lut: behold, he said to his people: "Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. {28} "Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practise wickedness (even) in your councils?" But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth." {29} He said: "O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief!" {30}

(Surah Al-Ankabot)

Then shall ye be brought back to your Lord

And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a Creation renewed? Nay, they deny the Meeting with their Lord.  Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord."

(Surah As-Sajda Verse 10 , 11)

Saturday 5 May 2012

"Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"

By those who range themselves in ranks, {1} And so are strong in repelling (evil), {2} And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! {3} Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- {4} Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! {5} We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- {6} (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, {7} (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, {8} Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, {9} Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. {10} Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! {11} Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, {12} And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- {13} And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, {14} And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! {15} "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) {16} "And also our fathers of old?" {17} Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." {18} Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! {19} They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" {20} (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" {21}

(Surah  Saffat Verse 1 To 21 )

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(Surah Al-Muzzamil Verse 20)

Not Understand !!

He does propound to you a similitude from your own (experience): do ye have partners among those whom your right hands possess, to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Do ye fear them as ye fear each other? Thus do we explain the Signs in detail to a people that understand. {28} Nay, the wrong-doers (merely) follow their own lusts, being devoid of knowledge. But who will guide those whom Allah leaves astray? To them there will be no helpers. {29} So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not. {30} Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah,- {31}

(Sura Al-Room Verse 28 To 31)

But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said) !

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! {27} And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! {28} "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." {29} Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see. {30} But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin! {31} "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" {32} Then will appear to them the evil (fruits) of what they did, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! {33} It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! {34} "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. {35} Then Praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth,- Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds! {36} To Him be glory throughout the heavens and the earth: and He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom! {37}

(Surah  Al-JathiyaVerse 27 To 37)

Sunday 29 April 2012

What! Are ye the more difficult

What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: {27} On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. {28} Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). {29} And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); {30} He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; {31} And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- {32} For use and convenience to you and your cattle. {33} Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- {34} The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, {35} And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- {36} Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, {37} And had preferred the life of this world, {38} The Abode will be Hell-Fire; {39} And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, {40} Their abode will be the Garden. {41} They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? {42} Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? {43} With thy Lord in the Limit fixed therefor. {44} Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. {45} The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! {46}

(Surah An-Naziat )

Saturday 28 April 2012

Truly am I a Warner

Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,-"The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all)

There is no blame on those who are infirm

And there were, among the desert Arabs (also), men who made excuses and came to claim exemption; and those who were false to Allah and His Messenger (merely) sat inactive. Soon will a grievous penalty seize the Unbelievers among them. {90} There is no blame on those who are infirm, or ill, or who find no resources to spend (on the cause), if they are sincere (in duty) to Allah and His Messenger: no ground (of complaint) can there be against such as do right: and Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. {91} Nor (is there blame) on those who came to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst, "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, their eyes streaming with tears of grief that they had no resources wherewith to provide the expenses. {92} The ground (of complaint) is against such as claim exemption while they are rich. They prefer to stay with the (women) who remain behind: Allah hath sealed their hearts; so they know not (What they miss). {93} They will present their excuses to you when ye return to them. Say thou: "Present no excuses: we shall not believe you: Allah hath already informed us of the true state of matters concerning you: It is your actions that Allah and His Messenger will observe: in the end will ye be brought back to Him Who knoweth what is hidden and what is open: then will He show you the truth of all that ye did." {94} They will swear to you by Allah, when ye return to them, that ye may leave them alone. So leave them alone: For they are an abomination, and Hell is their dwelling-place,-a fitting recompense for the (evil) that they did. {95} They will swear unto you, that ye may be pleased with them but if ye are pleased with them, Allah is not pleased with those who disobey. {96} The Arabs of the desert are the worst in Unbelief and hypocrisy, and most fitted to be in ignorance of the command which Allah hath sent down to His Messenger: But Allah is All-knowing, All-Wise. {97} Some of the desert Arabs look upon their payments as a fine, and watch for disasters for you: on them be the disaster of evil: for Allah is He That heareth and knoweth (all things). {98} But some of the desert Arabs believe in Allah and the Last Day, and look on their payments as pious gifts bringing them nearer to Allah and obtaining the prayers of the Messenger. Aye, indeed they bring them nearer (to Him): soon will Allah admit them to His Mercy: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. {99}

Why Fear To Allah ??

We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),-

Al-Fatiha (The Opening)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
{1} The Beneficent, the Merciful. {2} Master of the Day of Judgment. {3} Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. {4} Keep us on the right path. {5} The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. {6} Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. {7}
